Educational Events 2018

January 10: 10:00 to 12:00 Noon.  Nurturing Coexistence with Carnivores and Biodiversity on your Farm. Location: Augusta Civic Center, Augusta, Maine.
We are collaborating together: Andy Schultz : Maine forester, Deborah Perkins: wildlife ecologist, Abby Sadauckas: farmer, and myself as part of Maine’s big Agricultural Trade Show. Each one of us will be speaking about this same subject from each one’s professional background and experience. But what we wish to bring to the people is the understanding of the holistic aspect of farming ~ our farms are ecosytems!

January 29  time TBD  Little Song finds her Voice Puppet Show
Hosted by the Beth Israel Congregation as part of their celebration of the Forest Day. Location: To be announced.
A family saw our puppet show at the Common Ground Fair in September, and requested that we perform it again at one of their special Earth events. This delightful puppet show is all about Coyote’s delight in singing from the time they are small pups. Performed along with original music by Maine composer, Elizabeth Starr.

February 10 at 11:00 AM  Coyote and the Boy Ben Puppet Show
Hosted by Merrymeeting Arts Center, Bowdoinham, Maine. Location: to be announced.
Everyone loves our puppet show ~ adults and children alike.  I think because it is a story about family and trusting each other, of understanding that wild beings have the same needs as we do.  All accompanied by original music and wild Coyote howling!

April 27 at 12:00 Noon.  Coyote and the Boy Ben Puppet Show
Hosted by the Topsham Farmers Market. Location: Topsham Fairgrounds, Route 24, Topsham, Maine. We will be celebrating the last day of the Winter Indoor Market, and cheering on all those who attend with our now famous and beloved but very real puppet show.
